Our products are ready for extremely cold and hot temperatures. Given Ecogranito Smart Coatings amazing flexibility properties, so structural and/or thermal movement won’t make the product peel or crack.
Our products are for finishing purposes only and can be used outdoors and indoors. However, it does not replace the need of substrate waterproofing. Ecogranito is NOT thermal insulator or water repellent product. The surface to be coated must be dry, fully clean, leveled, free from dust, grease, mold, rust, dirt, grease, wax, chalk, mildew, efflorescence, and loosen or peeling paint.
Our coatings adhere to a variety of substrates such as drywall, brick, masonry, wood, metal, vinyl, glass, Styrofoam, and plastic. You can also use Ecogranito on irregular surfaces, such as oval, rounded, etc. However, please note that for applications on substrates other than cement or concrete, additional surface preparation may be required. For further information, please contact us if you have any questions on the suitability of our products for your specific project.
YES! However, you must apply a top clear flooring coat (sold separately, we can recommend a few brands) after 5 days of completing Ecogranito finish coat application. Our clients have used Ecogranito in their living rooms, washrooms, kitchens, and even in their garages! Avoid intense use/traffic of the coated area before applying the top clear epoxy coat.
We do not recommend using other primers brands as we cannot guarantee their performance and suitability for our products. Our Ecoprimo (primer) offers best-in-class quality, amazingly competitive cost, and is manufactured specifically to be used with Ecogranito finish coats.
Ecogranito will last for years with minimum maintenance. In case it gets dirty for any reason, use neutral soap and water. Do not use pressure washer as it can affect product colour and its properties. Do not use other chemicals or bleach when cleaning.
Do not apply our products when temperatures are below 10ºC (50ºF) or above 35ºC (95ºF), or when the humidity index is at or above 85%.
